Syspro's Joey Benadretti: Dedicated to Customer Success
Joey Benadretti believes that the customer is SYSPRO USA's focal point. The the result is that SYSPRO customer retention is one of the highest in the industry.
Benadretti, president of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provider, established CPACT (Continuous Process Action Control Team) to ensure that retention stays high. CPACT is a select group of SYSPRO employees that evaluates and elevates procedures and other conditions at SYSPRO to make the company easier to work with and more effective in all activities.
Benadretti's top three principles for providing a high-value ERP solution are: value-based pricing, in-depth midmarket expertise in industry verticals, and a corporate dedication to relationships and the success of its customers. Benadretti regularly meets with the company's value-added partners and key U.S. customers to gain insight into their needs and discuss ways they can leverage available technology to gain a competitive edge and increase market share.
Benadretti's mantra is: "Our success is based on the success of our customers. We focus on the continuous improvement of their businesses, helping them migrate to higher levels via the innovative use of technology. Our high customer retention success is not underpinned by new customers going 'live' with SYSPRO. It is based on the continual building of relationships with existing and new customers, providing customers with solutions that help them achieve greater insight into and tighter controls of their operations."
Benadretti's management skill and dynamism are reflected in the fact that SYSPRO, despite the current recession, has continued to hire personnel. Benadretti, who serves on several editorial boards, was also recently honored by the Orange County Chapter of the British American Business Council (BABC-OC) for business excellence and contributions to the business community.
In 2009 SYSPRO was named "Software Company of the Year" by the Technology Council and "Outstanding Private Technology Company" by TechAmerica; however, Benadretti is looking ahead. "I refuse to rest on our laurels. We hold past awards as standards against which we can measure our future achievements," he says.
